Shakespeare 2019 Wall Calendar Details
William Shakespeare (English, 1564–1616), playwright, poet, and actor, wrote nearly forty comedies, tragedies, and histories, alone and in collaboration, that are as relevant to our world as they were to audiences over four centuries ago. Murder, deception, love, and humor never go out of style when the Bard is telling the story. Each month of this calendar presents an opulent artwork inspired by one of Shakespeare’s plays. Details of his life and legacy are included with each month, from contemporary developments in Stratfordian scholarship back to the history of the Globe Theatre, where many of Shakespeare’s plays were performed. The Globe even has its own dramatic history, including a fire that burned the theater to the ground in 1613 during a performance of Henry VIII.

Reviews
I love Shakespeare and this sort of painting style. The calendar also has different bits of information on certain days about Shakespeare's life. Very cool.
